Custom print-on-demand production

Every personalized keepsake on Shop Pet Direct is created specifically for you. Rather than storing pre-printed inventory in a warehouse, each photo canvas, sherpa blanket, pillow, ceramic mug, ornament, and sympathy card is manufactured to order. This custom process ensures high print quality, accurate color representation, and individual care for every piece.

We partner with Printful, a leading domestic print manufacturer, to fulfill and dispatch orders. Printful receives the recipient name, shipping address, contact phone number (if provided for carrier delivery updates), and custom design files strictly to make and deliver your order.

Production and fulfillment schedules

Because each keepsake requires personalized digital processing and physical printing, fulfillment involves two stages: production and transit.

  • Canvas prints, mugs, cards, and ornaments: Standard personalized items typically require 2 to 5 business days for printing, drying, and assembly.
  • Custom photo blankets and pillows: Personalized sublimated sherpa blankets and all-over print pillows require specialized printing and sewing, which can take up to 7 business days to complete.
  • Order changes: Orders are sent to Printful and confirmed for production automatically as soon as payment succeeds. If you need to change or cancel, email [email protected] right away with your order number. We can change or cancel only until Printful starts making it, which can be within a few hours; after that we can’t stop it.

Domestic shipping and transit times

Shop Pet Direct currently ships exclusively to physical addresses and PO boxes within the United States. We do not provide international shipping services at this time.

Once production is finished, your package is handed over to a tracked domestic carrier (including USPS, UPS, or FedEx). Delivery transit times typically range from 3 to 8 business days across the contiguous United States. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and military APO/FPO addresses may experience longer transit times.

Shipping rates

Every order ships by tracked standard shipping within the United States, at one simple rate:

  • Orders under $60: $4.99 flat, whatever the weight or how many items are in the order.
  • Orders of $60 or more: free standard shipping. The $60 counts the items in your cart before tax and shipping, and the discount is applied automatically.

Tracking your delivery

When your order is packaged and picked up by the delivery carrier, an automated shipping confirmation email is sent via Resend. This email contains your carrier name and a direct tracking number so you can follow your package from the print facility to your door.

If tracking indicates your package was delivered but you have not received it, please check surrounding entry areas and consult neighbors. If your parcel remains missing after 48 hours, or if an item arrives damaged in transit, please contact our support team at [email protected] to arrange assistance under our returns policy.
